COST OF LIVING IN VIETNAM
Vietnam experienced troubled past during the war but it now thrives into a competitive nation amidst the crisis. Living in Vietnam has now been favored by many expats or foreigners since the cost of living is much cheaper compared to its neighboring countries. In addition, the people’s natural charm, stunning sceneries and glittering nightlife makes the country livable and interesting.
HISTORICAL LANDMARKS

- Nui Ngu Hanh Son- it is also called as Marble Mountains. The five peaks refers to the name of five elements: metal (Kim), water (Thuy), wood (Moc), fire (Hoa) and earth (Tho). Marble Mountains is one of the most popular tourist spots in Vietnam. It is also a home of few Buddhist sanctuaries. Its fascinating view attracts every visitors whether locals or foreigners.
- Giac Lam Pagoda- this 1744 structure is located in the vast land of Ho Chi Minh City. Giac Lam Pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh. It was remodeled in early 1900s. Unlike any other pagodas in Ho Chi Minh, Giac Lam’s architecture is almost unaltered despite the renovation. This famous pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City has a 49-Buddha oil lamp, which is considered an interesting site of this place.
- Reunification Palace/Presidential Palace- Dinh Thống Nhất as what it is called in Vietnamese language. Reunification palace was formerly called as Independence Palace. This palace is one of the widely known tourist attractions at Ho Chi Minh City. This Presidential Palace was designed by Architect Ngo Viet Thu. There are numerous features of this working place of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and one of these is the series of tunnels with a war room and telecommunication center located in the basement.
- Ba Dinh Square- is the famous historic site in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is where the Ho Chi Minh, the president of Vietnam declared independence against the French Imperialist on September 2, 1945.
- War Remnants Museum- also known as Bảo tàng chứng tích chiến tranh in Vietnamese language. A war museum attracts foreign and local tourist. Inside the museum are the colorful display of anti war artworks by Vietnamese children.

- Halong Bay- is a UNESCO World Heritage that is situated in the province of Quang Ninh, Vietnam. This renowned tourist destination in Vietnam is comprised of 1,969 islands of various sizes. If you want a spectacular and breath-taking site, then drop by at Halong Bay. Be mesmerized with its stunning views and enjoy the fresh and cool breeze of the wind.
- Mekong Delta- be amaze to see floating markets in this place. Mekong Delta is located in the southwestern part of Vietnam. It is the home of the big rice fields and green farmlands. It gives your eye a feast of lush interesting sites and memorable day.
- Sapa- Hac Ba- it nestles in one of the most colorful and beautiful place in Vietnam. You can see towering peeks, lush green trees and rice terraces. In Sapa, it is very cold to the highest level but it is worthy of every calories you burn in your body.
- Hoi An Ancient Town- one of Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage. Hoi An Ancient Town is situated 30 km south of Danang, Vietnam. Nowadays, this small yet interesting city continue to attract tourists either Vietnamese or foreigners. Furthermore, it is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Vietnam.
- Con Dao Island- it is comprised of 14 awesome islets. It nestles about 230 km from Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. Con Lon Island is the largest island of Con Dao and is popular for its prison, which was established by the French colonial government.
- Ho Chi Minh- it was formerly known as Saigon. Ho Chi Minh is the largest city in Vietnam with 808.9 sq mi (2,095 km²). The best time to visit this booming city is from December and April where the weather is dry and the humidity is tolerable. Explore the different districts and be amaze with its awesome sight seeings.
